Failures Are Steps To Success!

Ever set goals in your life to achieve a vision for yourself, but still seem to fall short even when you're so close to victory. Well, you are not the only one who has experienced failure. Nobody wants to fail and everyone wants to succeed. Failure is a bitter pill to swallow and one that everyone works endlessly to avoid. However, no matter who you are, failure is inevitable. As much as everyone hates failure, we all need it to experience personal growth. When we fail, we ponder, search for deeper meanings and reflect upon how we could have better approached and managed our actions to attain the goal. If you ever failed to achieve your vision or goals, below are six helpful ways you can always make a come back:

  1. Failure Is A Perception: Some people are afraid of failure. Other people fear they may actually succeed and may not even try to attain a goal. Such people lack to believe in themselves and in their own potential. In a failure's mind, they view everyone around them will think negatively of them. And if the person succeeds, they may think people are envious of them and look upon them in a negative view. So, no matter if you fail or succeed it all depends on your own perception. Only you have the power to achieve anything you set your mind to. Have a strong heart, bright mind, believe in yourself and others will too.

  2. Growth Mindset: When you switch your perception and view failures as positive, many things can change as you are continuously learning from your experiences, which in turn helps you to grow. Many people view failure as the opposite of success, which is not true. Failure is part of success, not the opposite. Benjamin Fraklin said, "Without continual growth and progress such words as improvement, achievement and success have no meaning." Hence, when you fail to complete your goals it just means you need to reflect on your experience and ask yourself, "What can I learn and do differently next time?" By looking at your failures as a lesson, you gain a new perspective, become someone better and more worthy of the goal.

  3. Dream To Achieve: It is important to remind yourself that you can still achieve your dreams, even when others doubt you. Albus Dumbledore once said, "Happiness can be found even in the darkest of times if only one remembers to turn on the light." So keep envisioning your dreams, working hard and being motivated to achieve your goals! This is important as many people fail to hit their goals as they lose sight of what they want. They start strong in the beginning, but as days go by their motivation fades and they become easily distracted by their own lives. Lossing connection with their goals happens and they eventually stop taking action and give up. Never let this happen to you, by making sure you are consistent and putting your dreams and goals first in your mind every moment you are sure to achieve success.

  4. Plan & Revise: Even when things don’t work out the way you want, it’s important to plan ahead and take action. Understanding why you failed in the first place, can help you the next time in planning a different strategy to achieve the goal. Maybe your approach wasn‘t up to standard or maybe you didn’t take enough action. Becoming more aware of your actions and the impact it has on others is always going to be something everyone can work to improve upon. If you make a mistake you should always try again and never stop giving up! Never underestimate yourself and always be ready to create a new plan to put into action. Like what Brian Tracy said, “Action without planning is the cause of all failure. Action with planning is the cause of all success.” By taking action with a plan in place you’ll know what you need to do to reach your goals and vision.

  5. Using Your Drive & Taking Action: To rebound from your failures always fight for them by taking immense action. You have two options. One, you sit by and do nothing to change your position. This won’t get you anywhere as you become stagnant. Instead, you should focus on making progress, which leads to the second option take immense action. Even if you are on the right path, you will get left behind if you fail to take any action. Understand that people don’t just win the race by running, they win because they put in hours to practice, focus and prepare for all expected and unexpected challenges. This is why it’s important to keep moving and taking immense and consistent action to practice and fulfill the plan you created to reach your goals.

It has been said that Thomas Edison has failed over 10,000 times in his career, but he never gave up. Failing to achieve your goals is a common experience, but knowing how to manage your failures and turn them into positive experiences makes an individual more successful long-term as they are continuing to learn, grow and advance to the next level.
